Folia is a passion project that has evolved from a simple platter idea to an events company specializing in show-stopping grazing tables, boards, boxes and pop-up picnics. We create unique and fun, locally and ethically sourced, fresh and delicious, made to order and unforgettable experiences for any and all events or celebrations.
Lucy Ana
Born in Brazil, Lucy Ana immigrated to Canada in 1998. She is married, has three beautifully spirited children and a mischievous, too smart for his own good, Aussie Shepherd named Oreo. Lucy Ana retired from her career as a Corporate and Securities Paralegal in 2006 to dedicate her time to family and has since volunteered at various fundraising and special events in the community. Lucy Ana loves ABBA, forest walks with Oreo, and dinner parties with friends and family.
I am a North Van mom who always loved hosting and entertaining others in my home. My love for great food, beautiful styling and creating intimate yet memorable celebrations, have inspired me to bring you Folia.
Folia (pronounced Foe-lee-ah) in Brazilian Portuguese means a joyful, vibrant, lively celebration.
